thinking of you guys today

I took a walk on the beach today. Don't be jealous, medical students! Anyway, I was thinking and praying for each one of you, and several things came to me as I was walking. Lauren had mentioned something in our last gathering that might have been missed, but it struck me later in light of LIGHT and DARKNESS. She had mentioned a covering of prayer over our relationship, and in particular, the marriages within the group. It's that time of year... stress! Stress and MORE stress... We are all on either a crazy path or the Lord's path, and typically the enemy wants to distract us and snatch us away from the Lord AND one another during these tiresome seasons. Walking in the light can become more difficult and even frustrating during these moments. The devil is pretty tricky, and we need to recognize the fact that he's trying to trip U each day and get us OUT of G-d's perfect will. He'll do whatever it takes through speaking lies and using the truth, which is what he's good at, and flipping it, twisting and perverting the beauty that is before our eyes. I must make this very clear. WE ARE ALWAYS UNDER ATTACK, but it's only some times that we are more aware of it, and my thought is that if we are more aware of it during specific times, odds are that's the HOLY SPIRIT doing. it's thing in our gut.
So, I too prayed our marriages, specifically. Don't worry, you single brothers and sisters. I most definitely prayed for you too as you have all kinds of ways in which the enemy wants to lure you away from the light of the world.
Remember, as we move through Romans and become more in tuned with the Lord moving in our daily walk and within our relationships w/ one another around Dominica, faith is imperative to life with Christ. But I do fear that too many Christians have simply faith IN Jesus, but not the faith OF JESUS! With a reconciled life w/ our Maker, being grafted into the Vine, justified before the King, we have been given real life in our soul. And the life of faith is to be lived OUT... Abraham believed, and he also MOVED. So, let's move in His will, rest in His love and sharpen one another one day at a time.
Grace and Peace...
shalom, indeed!
